I forgot to add another thing in the Heeler house during this episode which was swapping beds to sleep which leads to the episode’s moment in the sun (you’ll need tissues, not puns). It basically started good, then great, and then visually stunning, fun, and then cinematic quality. The metaphors in Bingo’s dream and in the Heeler house fits perfectly.Īlso there are other things going on in the Heeler which includes such Bluey getting a glass of water from Mum only to return to Bluey taking her spot in bed, Dad spontaneously waking up after getting kicked, and singing to Bluey to fall asleep. It takes us back and forth between Bingo’s dream and the Heeler house. Then, it takes us to space with Bingo hatching out of the Earth. Sleepytime is like any other Bluey episode with its stunning visuals, simple yet complex story telling, and fitting selection of music. If humanity ceased to exist and another species take over Earth, then what would be left behind as monumental evidence of our existence along the humanity and feeling during that time? One relic would be a 8-minute cartoon with the voiceover that goes “This episode of Bluey is called Sleepytime” with 2 books on top of the episode title. And right now, it's an unstoppable runaway train of fabulous storytelling, incredible music, and symbolic imagery, and it perfectly encompasses what it means to be a parent. It hands-down embodies what this show is and what it's capable of. Even if you can't see me, because I love you."Īnd now I'm going to wrap it up by saying that this episode is one I play for friends and family who haven't seen Bluey. The Tyndall effect at the end is still my favorite in the episode for animation. I also just love the ending sequence with the rising sun. For right now, though, being that focus and being his "sun" has been the most rewarding job I've ever held, and the correlation to something so magnificent reiterates the impact we have as adults on children. The separation anxiety we're going through right now is very real, and I know I won't be his "sun" forever. He comes to me for everything - physical and emotional. Right now, I am the center of my son's world. Chili, as the sun, is probably the most realistic comparison of what Mom means to a child. Space, Floppy family Saturn Rings, Bandit as Jupiter, Chili as the sun - the symbolism is so perfectly tuned. Then I helped him collect his "floppy" (our stuffed otter) and got him tucked back into bed. Just 3 days ago, my toddler woke up at 3am, stood at my bedside while I was sound asleep, and woke me up the way Bluey does Chili for a drink. In the throws of parenthood, this episode speaks to all caregivers. The story - who doesn't relate to this story? Everyone (maybe not, but hopefully) can look back on their childhood and remember bedtime stories and how important they were - how that routine before bed had to include a hug and kiss and of course, your favorite stuffed animal. The music in this episode clearly elevates it to the next level. The writers intricately wove the story through the ups and downs of this composition, and even though there are spoken lines, they are not needed to tell the story. While not an entirely original compilation, the use of this timeless classic, Juptier, by Gustav Holst, is astounding. My personal top 5 favs and over all beloved by all who watch. Where to start? Sleepy Time is another 5 star episode. More information can be seen on the project announcement post. The thread ordering is as on Bluey episode list IMDb page.

Human beings as the player of the survival game is a very natural choice, because here are a lot of human needs, to eat, drink, to moderate temperature, with physical constraints, and even guts and so on.Whether buildings, traps, vehicles, aircraft, rail cars, and even calculators can be designed and built, Phantom provide almost unlimited possibilities. Then based on the construction system, in theory, the player can create any highly interactive things. A purely physical construction system, the vast majority of the survival of the construction of the game system is just a "shell", these "shell" cannot move! The Phantom construction system is different, if the player to build any purpose for a building or tool, the player needs to design by themselves, Phantom provides only the most basic "function block." Second, these "function blocks" all follow Newton's law, they are alive, players can interact with them.Phantom is a very unique style of hard science fiction survival game, the art style is different from most of the survival of game in the market.Phantom has some different features it can be said to distinguish the other survival games. The environment, the pressure of AI to characters, and the process of player to overcome these pressures through collecting, building and fighting. Nowadays, there are all kinds of survival games in the market. “We have long established our own players community, forums, including Chinese and English, we will continue to maintain the interaction with the players.”Īcerca de este juego game Features What makes Phantom become a special sandbox survival game? ❼ómo tienes planeado involucrar a la comunidad en tu proceso de desarrollo? “Yes, the price of the final game is not decided yet but it will be higher than the Early Access game's.Īnd we want to reward those who are with us from the beginning by offering them a lower price.” ❾l precio del juego será diferente durante y después del acceso anticipado? “The Early Access game have those features: ❼uál es el estado actual de la versión de acceso anticipado? Since the start of 2018, Multiplayer mode will be developed and evolved.ĭelays are one of the biggest issues in a game development and Road Map MAY BE NOT absolutely complete on time.” Single player mode and Big Planet will be available and improved within 2017 or a little later. “The final version will have big planet system, and the final game will be a multiplayer game.Īnd there will be a lot of new feature and changes with the final game in 2-3 years. ❼uán diferente será la versión completa de la versión de acceso anticipado? We estimate it will take about 2-3 years to get the final version.” With Phantom we not only want to build a large number of features into the game, we also want to build out a unique experience for multiplayer version. “The release date for any game is always uncertain. ❼uánto tiempo va a estar este juego en acceso anticipado aproximadamente? We also believe that with your help, we'll be able to mitigate most issues and polish the game until it is great.” We want to gather feedback to help us to finish the final version and improving the whole Phantom to make sure the game is enjoyable on every level. The process is considered as an amazing pleasure to create Phantom of our ordinary life. “Phantom is always an unrealizable and ambitious project. We can see lots of referenced code in the manifest which doesn’t actually exist in the current decompiled DEX file, this is another very big indicator that we’re dealing with an encoded DEX file in this APK. This parent file is an APK with a similar looking obfuscation as the other files I had looked at from reading reports! So these obfuscated APKs are creating these Anubis DEX files which is actually a common occurrence with packed APK files that keep an encoded DEX file on board as a resource.Īnother hint that this is packed is by taking a look at the manifest inside this APK. This file bundle is just a zipped up x file, using the ITW tab again we see it was created during the execution of another file. We can then pivot backwards from this file to see where this dex file came from by utilizing the ITW(In The Wild) tab which will show that it came from a file bundle. Searching for the twitter address from the aforementioned writeup leads us to a number of dex files in VirusTotal Take a look at the jadx-gui picture in this phishlabs writeup, in this writeup we can see a number of strings but if we search for the twitter address on VirusTotal then we come up with a number of x files.Įxample hash: 7118e74f6a1bad86fa0a72c3e5e424c36c11087c4e369b09dcb7bf5c3ace78fa So what do you do in this situation? Well you learn how to search basically, just like you have to learn how to use your favorite search engine if you have a virustotal account you end up having to figure out how to search for whatever you’re looking for. Obviously there are blog posts describing the unpack files but all the hashes are leading me to the packed versions. So on Xee I rolled back to 3.5.I’ve been seeing people talk about Anubis lately so I decided to take a look at it, unfortunately these led me to a whole bunch of packed APK files. Some pages show up as noise, where as other programs(like Comic Reader). I should mention Xee 3.5.3(marketed by the same company) inherited a bug in the new release, that it can no longer reliably read. Quit button disappears.) and the program hangs. Then somehow “The Unarchiver” memory gets corrupted, and the menus no longer work(e.g. BTW, there seems to be another bug that comes up if you select more than about 250 files from Finder and invoke “The Unarchiver”. So i am temporarily using command line tools to do the operations. Now, randomly I get a notofication about the encoding the compressed file uses. Before the last two versions, I could choose ‘Compress “some directory”’ from the finder menu, and then few minutes later I could uncompress it by using “The Unarchiver”. However there are more problems with version 3.11.3. Then they had a problem with 3.11.2, which they think they fixed in 3.11.3. Until this version 3.1.2 it was a 5 star now maybe 4 If you could implement something like that in your next update that would be greatly appreciated! Again, thank you for developing this application, beacuse it is really awesome and allows me to get my job more done more efficiently, but please don't put pop-ups in your software. The developers allow you to display the normal icon for the app or the #StandwithUkraine version. Spark, an excellent email client, is a great example of this. I don't want to be reminded of this when I am unzipping some files on the job, please remove this in your next build or at least give us the option to remove it. I stand with Ukraine and have donated to the cause of helping them get on their feet and fight during this time of war. But why I am writing this review is because of a very frustrating pop-up within The Unarchiver. Amazing utility, but with the annoyance of pop-upsįirst of all MacPaw, love what you guys do, Setapp and CleanMyMacX are staples of the amazing apps and services available for the Mac platform, and developers like you guys keep the Mac such an enticing platform. Getty Images 2008, Hannah Montana & Miley Cyrus: Best Of Both Worlds Concert Premiereīefore her starring turn as Alex Russo in Wizards of Waverly Place, Gomez had a recurring role on another hit Disney show: Hannah Montana. Subscribe to Observer’s Lifestyle Newsletter Selena Gomez. Ahead, take a look back at some of Gomez’s most memorable red carpet moments, from her Disney days sans stylist to wearing custom couture and creating her own designs. A partnership with Puma quickly followed, as did a $10 million deal with Coach, which saw Gomez serve as the face of the brand and as a collaborator on a line of leather goods and a ready-to-wear collection.Įver-evolving, Gomez parted ways with Young in 2023 and enlisted the stylist Erin Walsh to develop a new sartorial direction, whether promoting her work as an actress and singer or celebrating her Rare Beauty cosmetics line and the nonprofit organization that it supports (the Rare Impact Fund, which raises funds for mental health resources and awareness). “There’s an overall mood that we’re going for which is young, modern, clean, and sexy without ever being fussy.” That aesthetic turned heads in the fashion world, with Gomez starring in Louis Vuitton’s fall 2016 fashion campaign (her first for a major fashion house). “We’ve had a clear vision of what we wanted to do together from the beginning,” Young previously told Vogue about her partnership with Gomez, which began in 2014. A record deal soon followed, and Gomez quickly became a fixture at movie premieres and award shows, favoring casual denim looks and sneakers or minidresses paired with sparkling heels.īy her early 20s, Gomez began to seek out more mature roles on-screen, turning to stylist Kate Young to help her curate a more sophisticated wardrobe to match-both for red carpet events and streetwear moments. First appearing on Barney & Friends at age 10, the Texas native moved to Los Angeles for a starring role in Disney’s Wizards of Waverly Place television series just five years later. And given the breadth of her career, it’s not entirely surprising. With nearly 430 million followers on Instagram, it’s no exaggeration to say that Selena Gomez is one of the most-watched celebrities in the world. That was a moment where I was like, ‘I don’t have to be that 19-year-old body shape anymore.Selena Gomez. “What was really amazing was I got the chance to work on a dress that fit my body. “I fluctuate a lot with my weight, and I remember this night specifically I didn’t feel good about my body,” Gomez says. She also got candid about her struggles dressing for these big-ticket events, such as when she wore Vera Wang for the 2015 Met gala. “I remember for the first time feeling like a woman,” Gomez says. A personal highlight was the vampy Versace gown she wore to the 2013 VMAs, which was spliced to reveal a bustier underneath. “And you can laugh at that, because that’s not high fashion.” (It was, however, emblematic of the era.)Īs Gomez’s career skyrocketed after her time on Disney, she says she really began finding her fashion footing. “It was the first time I tried to be high fashion,” says Gomez. “I thought I was so cool, you guys.” However, she does have affection for the strapless, bejeweled dress she wore in her “Love You Like a Love Song” music video. “It’s so bad,” she says of her oversized tee, skinny jeans, and white stiletto boots, which she styled herself. Oh, it’s bad.” This may be how Selena Gomez kicked off her Life in Looks video for Vogue, but a look back at some of the singer’s most iconic fashion moments is hardly frightful-rather, they range from edgy and cool to glamorous and feminine.įor a blast from the past, Gomez kicked off the series with a punky outfit she wore to an ABC All Star party in 2007. Miller resuscitates Vic and brings her to the ground, and she is transported to the hospital. As Vic fights the fire from a ladder, a live wire strikes her, rendering her unconscious. The firefighters are called to a neighborhood gas line explosion. Jack plans to open a free clinic at the station with Carina's help. Miller plans to start another Crisis One program in Oakland and asks Vic to join him, but she declines. Sullivan gives Herrera the signed divorce papers. Miller is still frustrated by Vic and Theo being together and finds them making out in the station. Lewis tells Miller that his program is going to help a lot of people. Jack goes on a mental health call with the crisis team and finds he has an aptitude for the work while working with a young autistic man. Sullivan and Bishop respond to a house call where an on-the-rocks married couple foreshadows many things relevant to Sullivan's and Bishop's own marriages. The firefighters joke their way through the training while fielding various calls. Diane Lewis is back in the building to assist in Miller's new initiative by teaching crisis intervention training (CIT) to Stations 19 & 23. Ben surprises Joey by getting his foster siblings to the make-up event to push the engine into the station, which is complete with a water fight to cool everyone down. Sullivan is still reeling from the divorce papers. Bishop and Carina continue to fight about Maya not wanting children. Ben can't stop because he doesn't have official confirmation and as a doctor and first responder he might be willing to bend the rules to save a life, but not to end one. The man experiencing heart failure is someone Joey knows, and Joey argues against life-saving measures because he knows his friend is a DNR. Ben's adopted son Joey rides along with Ben and Jack in the aid car, and the first call is to a homeless encampment. An attempted PR stunt led by new department PR director, consisting of pushing the new engine into the garage, would have gone great if the engine wasn't burning the hands of those who showed up to help. Andy's sex hangover from going home with newly minted Captain Sean Beckett plagues her, as she feels guilt about recent interactions with Sullivan, who is going viral in the "Fire Zaddy" video. It is exceptionally hot in Seattle, leading to all sorts of complications for its citizens and its firefighters. Outside of the bar, Herrera runs into Beckett, the new captain, and entreats him to go home with her. The other kid's video goes viral, and people start calling Sullivan "Fire Zaddy." As the whole team goes day-drinking to celebrate and Sullivan learns of his viral status soon after being served (at work) with divorce papers by Herrera, he orders himself a scotch but ultimately decides not to drink it. Some teens are shown to be filming the scene where the down firefighters are being revived, and Sullivan-now shirtless-berates the kids and smashes one's phone in the process. Sullivan wakes up and shakes it off and is able to carry people out. Several members of 19 are rendered unconscious by the fumes. The team is called to a house fire that turns out to be a basement drug lab fire. This episode begins a crossover event that concludes on Grey's Anatomy season 18 episode 1. The new captain shows a fairly callous attitude towards the sentimentality that 19 has for the engine. It eventually catches fire, and Andy (having responded with her new 23 team, where she is the only woman) has to watch her father's memorial on the engine burn. The new captain leaves the engine open and one of the drunk partiers steals it and immediately wrecks it. One manages to blow half of his face off, but the chaos of the whole situation makes it so nothing goes easily for the team. In the present, the team is helping with an event at a park where a bunch of extremely intoxicated people are lighting off fireworks. They return to the wedding dejected, but determined to have a good time. She relents, but he still says Andy will be transferred to Station 23. He threatens to transfer every other member of Station 19 if she persists in fighting his decision. Flashbacks show the fallout at the Carina/Maya wedding, as the two of them (and Andy) left the wedding to confront the chief about his decision to relieve Maya of her position as captain. We've jumped a year, and Herrera and Sullivan are on the rocks. Main article: List of Station 19 episodes No.Ī title card reveals that while the pandemic isn't over in real life, the show is presenting a look at the future that the show hopes for. Curious squirrelfish, brownish silver in daylight but red at night, swim up to my faceplate. The streams of divers’ bubbles rise like fronds of sea kelp. Soon, drawn to the lights and the promise of thick zooplankton, four mantas come to the spot and begin wheeling and banking through the lights. I feel water turbulence from the mantas’ powerful wing strokes on my face. That allows the mantas to come within an inch or two of the divers. Divers also remove their snorkels so that the mantas don’t scrape their bellies on them. Because mantas are covered with a thin layer of protective slime, divers are not allowed to touch them (and doing so will get you kicked off the dive). I know all this before I settle myself on the sandy bottom (picking up a lava rock for added ballast) and yet the first time one of these animals sweeps out of the dark to buzz me, I get a lump in my throat. There is nothing remotely threatening about mantas except their appearance. These are, in fact, cephalic fins that help direct food to their mouths. Mantas (the name comes from the Spanish word for “cloak”) were known to early mariners as devilfish because of the horned projections from their heads. The series of gill plates inside their maws incorporates mesh-like structures that collect whatever the animals scoop up - plankton, fish larvae, copepods - and moves it toward the esophagus. Millions of years ago, these animals evolved away from their smaller bottom-feeding cousins, stingrays (which got a bad rap with the death of naturalist Steve Irwin), to become great oceangoing vacuum cleaners. Mantas, which can grow to have a wingspan of 20 or more feet and weigh up to 3,000 pounds, are the largest rays in the ocean. Manta rays are essentially winged gullets, and to see one swimming at you is to stare down the mouth of Creation. But then a manta flies through the beams and I think instead of London during the Blitz. The divers are instructed to sit or kneel on the bottom and hold their lights over their heads, and as I level off and begin kicking toward the area, the scene reminds me of a movie premiere when searchlights sweep the skies above Hollywood. A column of blue-green light glows from the bottom, and swirling above is a funnel of silver Hawaiian flagtails, like a small glittering tornado. Slowing sinking into the dark, with the faint, netted light rippling across the coral below, I can see in the distance the area they call the Campfire - a rough circle of lava rock on the bottom where the divers place upturned underwater torches. I bite into my regulator and squeeze the air-release button on my buoyancy compensator vest. “One lady came up crying, saying she’d had a spiritual happening.”Īt about 8 p.m., my group’s dive master, Tim Lenarsky, signals for us to descend. “When people come back to the boat, they don’t know what to say,” Konahonu Dive Shop’s Rich Sanchez told me earlier that afternoon. This is the Big Island’s famous Manta Ray Night Dive, frequently rated one of the top 10 dives in the world and pound for pound the most surreal encounter you are ever likely to have with a big marine animal. It’s a classic symbiosis: The divers bring the lights, the lights bring the plankton, the plankton bring the mantas, and the mantas - huge but harmless creatures that swim in exquisitely slow arabesques in the spotlights, like dancers through an opium dream - bring the divers from around the world, by the thousands. Here, attracted by the abundance of light-seeking phytoplankton, the Big Island’s resident manta rays (Manta birostris) come to feed. Tonight the Honu 1’s divers are wearing green chem-sticks - the green team - to distinguish them from the three dozen or so divers from other boats that are moored around us.ĭuring the day, this area is known as Garden Eel Cove - a more-or-less routine Hawaiian coral dive - but at night the locals call it Manta Heaven. Each diver has a couple of illuminated chem-sticks attached to his or her tank. The water is about 40 feet deep here, but just a few hundred yards to the west the Big Island’s seamount plunges into the miles-deep oceanic abyss.Ī quarter moon silhouettes the dive boat Honu 1, where the dive masters are tossing out flashlights to their clients bobbing in the dark. I’m floating free in the blue-black ocean, a few hundred yards from Kona’s volcanic bluffs. When I hit the water, I feel all the familiar feelings, the ocean seeping into my wetsuit, the frantic bubbles on my face, the ineffable moment when the body’s gyroscope switches over from gravity to buoyancy. One big step off the boat and into the dark. |
